You might ask
How long does the writing/editing process take?
Most weeks, I can have shorter projects returned in a matter of days. Longer projects have a longer return period. Please fill out my contact form to share what you’re working on so I can share an estimate.

How much do your services cost?
My rates are comparable to those recommended by the Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network. Most editing starts at $0.03/word, but this varies dependent on project type.
More information can be found here.

Who do you work with?
I love working with nonprofits, missionaries, college and high school students, ESL students, international students, and aspiring authors of Christian memoirs and nonfiction.

With all the AI tools out there, do I really need an editor?
Yes! As ChatGPT says itself (!!!) "A human developmental editor brings capabilities that go far beyond the current reach of even the most advanced large language models (LLMs). While LLMs can be helpful collaborators, they lack the nuanced perception, lived experience, and deep contextual judgment that a seasoned human editor brings. If you’re a writer serious about growing the work and the self behind the work, there’s no substitute for a thoughtful, experienced human developmental editor."
I'd love to talk about your project! Reach out through this contact form and I'll be in touch soon.

TESTIMONIALS
"I wholeheartedly believe that ChatGPT isn't going to be able to capture the heart or retell the story as well as a human can, no matter how well-trained it is on past newsletters. Just because we *can* do something doesn't mean it's the *right* way to do it. It is a huge encouragement to have you working here with me, telling our stories and sharing about our impact in a way that not only makes us shine, but really touches the hearts of our supporters."
